PREPARING FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
EYELINER Preparation

  • Do get the lashes tinted 1 week prior if this is something that concerns you, as you will be advised not to wear mascara for the week following.

  • No lash extensions at the time of your appointment: Lash extensions may be applied 4 weeks after your touch-up session.

  • Do not use lash-enhancing serums for at least 30 days before treatment (ideally 3 months).

  • If you wear contact lenses ensure they are removed and bring your glasses.

  • Avoid wearing eye makeup at the time of your appointment.

  • Please call for further advice if you have experienced recent infection or irritation of the eyes.

  • Have ice packs available post treatment as this can help with swelling.

LIPS Preparation

  • If you have a history of cold sores, it is essential to see your healthcare professional at least 4 days before your appointment and request preventative treatment.

  • Avoid laser hair removal on or near the area 2 weeks prior.

  • Scars on the area may retain pigment differently or heal patchy but hydration is key.

  • Ensure the lip area is not sun or wind burnt, chapped or too dry. Dry lips will heal patchy and are more difficult to tattoo.

  • Gently exfoliate the area for up to 3 days prior, ensure the skin is well nourished. Ideally exfoliate after a hot shower when the dry skin has softened.

  • If you have Angular Cheilitis (dry corners of the mouth) please advise your Artist before booking an appointment.

  • If you get lip filler or Botox, please ensure this is done at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.

BROWS Preparation

  • Have your brows waxed/tidied a week or two before treatment if possible - do not tint unless this is a regular treatment for you.

  • Do not wax or tint the brows within 3 days of treatment.

  • No tinting until 4 weeks after your session, when they are fully healed.

  • Gently exfoliate the area for up to 3 days prior, ensure the skin is well nourished.

  • Do not use any brow-enhancing serums for at least 30 days before treatment.

  • Keep an open mind about the different techniques: after a thorough consultation your artist will advise the most suitable option for your skin type and lifestyle.

  • You will be advised not to wet your brows for 7 days following treatment, so we recommend washing your hair the night before.

  • Come mid menstrual cycle, if possible - it can be more painful otherwise.

  • If you get Botox, please ensure this is done at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.

  • Have ice packs available post treatment as this can help with swelling.
